I love that you are frugal . . . makes me feel like I'm not the only person in the room. For all of the hoopla over my shoe fetish, I'm proud to say that about half of my collection cost less than $30 per pair based on my careful scanning of the 70-80 off sales.

I've adopted the concept of marginal utility to everything in life. Doesn't matter what I can afford - there are just some values I place on things and I don't feel like paying more for them. So while I'm perfectly comfortable dropping over $50 per person on a nice meal at a great restaurant with a glass of wine, I feel ripped off paying $6 for a hamburger at the amusement park with the kids when I can get two for that same price at McDonald's.

Call me crazy. :)

They are not bimbos.

They are the athletes.

Does anyone watching Beach Volleyball really care about the final score??

But some of the guys choose not to wear shirts either to balance things out for the female demographic.

Hmmm... I'll need to talk to the 'Shrink about what he bases #1 on. NASCAR isn't that bad at all actually. For example other race series have sponser girls who dress in very tight, and typically small, outfits - it's possible you'll see that at a larger race, say at Daytonay, but I'll bet it won't be on the grounds. NASCAR has a trophy presenter girl or two, but they are not over the top.

Very well said. Between Victory Poker's ad campaign, Carbon's signing of Shannon Elizabeth and UB's decision to support Playboy models and porn stars with event buy-ins, poker marketing has hit a new low this summer. It just reeks of desperation and they're simultaneously alienating the game's largest untapped market. I've been disgusted to the point of tears at least twice this WSOP, and not just because I miss seeing you every day.

PokerStars did put Vanessa Rousso in an ad for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition last year. In previous tournaments, including her win at the NAPT Mohegan Sun, she was wearing a Full Tilt logo. You'd think they'd have the inside track on signing her if they were interested.

1. I nominate NASCAR for the higher quotient of bimbettes.

2. wildbill would love to see you in that dress, it might even top the Dorothy blue gingham outfit.

You're right Dave. I love the cover. I'm pretty sure that Katitude ( http://katitude.ca/ ) designed it.

And DrC - nice wheels!
