Too bad your brother has received the max amount of "Thank you" gifts at his 10-7 gig (okay lately more like 10-5, with crown work, and busted arm). The cheapo cancellation headphones I got are pretty nice. I'll have to try and figure out who makes them. But if radio shack includes a mic that might be just right for work environment where you need to get on the phone as well.

I can't believe that you don't have an AMEX Platinum card (my preference) or some such credit card so that you can use points to get a free set of Bose3 headphones (the only choice, imo).

The pair of combo headphone mic I got from RadioShack for under $40 might meet your needs. Sorry to hear that you needed to get a 9-5 job. Loved listening to and reading all your poker goodies. At last I know the pso-Szura story. Sorry to hear about the Brandi story, but more important to the poker world is the demise of Chip Reese, a true gentleman and a tribute to what poker is truly about.

Unless you are working in a monastary I would also suggest noise cancelation. The Bose have both open ear - more comfortable - and closed ear - cancels more ambient noise - but you might get sweaty ears. UUggghhh.
Sennheiser have good noise cancelation at half the price. You should try them on at Best Buy, etc. for comfort.

I'd definitely second the notion on the Bose headphones, but I forsee you fainting and quivering in the fetal position at the $400 price tag.

Glad the job is going well, but dammit we're going to miss you this summer.

Bose noise cancellation are the obvious choice, but good luck getting a discount.
